Private K in VA, DC, MD

Hi All,

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier query about G&T programs in the VA, DC , MD area.

Much to my amazement, it's actually looking like staying in NYC might be best for him. He scored high enough on a city-wide test to enroll in a city-wide G&T kindergarten in Sept.

If we moved to VA, DC, or MD he couldn't enroll even if these areas had a comparable program, which they don't. Unlike NYC, you have to be 5 by September or thereabouts in VA, DC or MD to enroll in a public kindergarten. My son doesn't turn 5 till November.

A final option in VA, DC or MD would be a private kindergarten. Any recommendations?

I'm not from the east coast, but my son attended a private gifted school that was accredited by www.nais.org ~ you can check their website for schools in your area.
