Looking for a preschool in Summerlin area las vegas

I am currently moving to Las Vegas from San Francisco Bay Area and looking for a preschool in Summerlin Area, any good recommendation? I heard La Petite Preschool is good,Anyone has experience to share?

so glad to hear that there are so other Aus moving there to. We should be leaving in two still have not packed, we are going to rent short stay house for a week or two so i can be there looking for myself, summerlin and Henderson areas look good both are in the Clarke district. I still need to find a pre- school and kindy for the kids but are it is summer break i figure i will wait til i get there and talk to the locals and see. i will keep you posted on what i find out and would love to get in touch when you arrive i hope by then i can be some use to you on areas and schools.

Hey, we just found out we are moving to Las Vegas in 2010 too! It would be great to get to know some people before we get there! We have been recommended Summerlin as a place to live, so searching pre schools at the moment. We have a 3 yr old and 1 yr old. Currently living near Katherine, NT.

We also are planing a move from Sydney to Las Vegas early next year. We visiting for 5 weeks in October 2009 and I hope to contact the local school soon (O'Roarke Elementary School - we are looking in the Silverstone Golf club area) so I can visit with them. My son is nearly 8 and in Year 2 this year. I also will not know anyone but hopefully will be able to get involved at school and meet people. The school will be a crucial part regarding our final decision where to move to. I understand this is a new school and there seems to be no available data for this school yet. I am in the same boat as you, we are moving from sydney Australia in the next month or so just waiting for visas. I have a 2 1/2 and a 5 year old. My son luke (5) is in pre school here meant to start school next years. from what i have read USA starts in sept this year. Does pre school run over your summer brake or do you know of any good social and learning programs that i could get him into. I also need to find a good pre school for my little girl she something loving and caring. we are looking at houses in summerlin is that a good area, And as i know no one, would love to make some friends. from Aus mum.
