A Step Above Child Development Academy is a nice family owned and operated educational child care facility. The classrooms will have two teachers in all the rooms...the 4yr old and the 5 yr old will have their own classrooms.....and bathrooms in all the classrooms. The little toilets for the 2 and 3 yr old students. The owner actually works at the facility which is a little unusual in Charlotte, NC. The school just opened...June with a few students. I viewed the facility and it is very warm and the teachers are great. The owner has hired all the staff, however; they will not start until needed. The location is a hidden gem, this is why it is taking her a little longer to full the classrooms. I only found the center, because I was driving around in the Fountains Shopping Plaza off Ardrey Kell. I normally do not go that direction..but felt the need to stop by one of the local pizza shops.
She also has that SmartBoard in the building..it is awesome...my child who is 18 months old played on the board and enjoyed it. He will start there this week and I am excited....Oh, she's located in the Ballantyne area without the Ballantyne rats....very reasonable prices....

Can anyone tell me anything about Preschool of America 42nd Street NYC? I have a 4 yr old child who I'm looking to possibly place there.

I would like to add my kids school, Kiddie Ridge Academy in Plantation, Florida very good school, very friendly staff, they know all the kids by name, my daughter is starting
Kindergarten in August she's starting at Kiddie Ridge since she was 2 years, now my son is 1 years old, i have him attending the same preschool, I would like to rate the school, but i don't have all the information that's required to rate them. What should i do?

My childs school isn't listed.....it's Small Blessings Preschool in Clark Mills, NY. I don't recommend this preschool. It's affordable and a nice program and nice environment. However, the teachers aren't very personable or friendly at all. They're ok with the kids...but I've experienced better. My childs previous preschool was St. James Day School in Clinton, NY....much better experience! I regret switching preschools because we moved....it would've been worth it having to drive a few extra minutes.

Does anyone have information about the Prince of Peace pre-school at cury ford road and semoran? I have visited it once and had a good feeling. Appreciate any information. I am looking for a daycare in this area.

I rate my child's preschool at the maximum it can get! It's called "Little Einsteins Playschool"...which also has an Academy for the Performing Arts within it's cirriculum! The children (and their parents go with them) on TV commercial auditions in Hollywood for their field trips, They Learn sign language, Choreographed Dance, Play in a marching band, and Learn to count to ten in French, Spanish and English. Ms. Bell, the head teacher, and former actress, encorporates the Academy for the Performing Arts in with the regular cirriculum such as teaching the kids phonics, the alphabet, shapes, colors, etc. Everyone keeps asking me for their number, so I'll just put it here so I won't have to keep posting it every time. The main teacher's name is Bell. Their number is 559-589-1277. They're in Hanford close to the old Walmart.


Parents I'd Like to Meet
People have always commented on how my daughter should be in commercials. The preschool my daughter goes to showed me how to get in touch with agents who specialize in just children regarding commercials and next week we have an audition for Daiso, a company who sells children's toys and clothes in Manhattan Beach (just south of the Los Angeles airport). I'm looking for other moms who want to carpool and/or get involved in the commercial thing for their child too. We can compare notes and help each other.

My childrens daycare/preschool is not listed however it is an awesome place to send kids. My 3 children have gone there for the past 3+ years and they are doing awesome. It is Little Friends Daycare/preschool on Heath Road. My oldest is in first grade and loves the after-school arts and crafts, my 4 year old is beginning to read books and knows over 50 site words and my 21 month old son is starting to learn colors and shapes. All this for much less than a center costs and in an extremely clean and well set up environment.
