i agree fattyman,my middle child needed alittle more time before kindergarden so i recommended they keep her in preschool one more year and it helped now she is in the first grade and did much better by staying a extra year in preschool.

Maturity level. Some kids just aren't ready to handle a full day of school and all of the academic and social demands that come with it. You know your own child best and if you think they need another year at the preschool level, go for it. Your child will win in the end.
