Find out what books will be required in her Lit class and have her read those books this summer. That would be a good start on the school year. I like a school that gives homework time during the day - she should get help with her homework from her teachers and this may be a turnaround year for her.
Find out what math class she'll be taking and what textbook they use - you can often buy a used copy of that textbook - or perhaps her new school would lend you one. If someone in the family is good with math, that person and your daughter could start to do next year's math this summer and give her another edge up.
Has she visited her new school? Take some time if possible and take her to see her new school - some alternative schools are great schools with teachers who extend themselves to students. Your daughter might take great heart and find new confidence by meeting her new teachers ahead of time.
If they would lend you any other of her textbooks, that couldn't hurt but most important is to try to get the some of the reading done ahead of time and to try to get comfortable with the math.
Good luck.
