On my daughter's last day of school, I hugged her teacher and said "I am going to miss you" (emphasis on I). She hugged me back and reminded me to empty my cubby. I didn't actually have a cubby, but it was still funny.

Are you a helicopter mom too?

This is one of the most fun things about being a parent! I enjoy seeing that "look" on their face, it's kind of like payback for all the things they do to drive me crazy! :)

I am not a hovering mom, but my husband on the other hand is very much so. The kids will ask to go to the park/ water park and they will check to see if there Dad is going with us and if he is they will say never mind will wait till he goes to work. My husband while he is at work will call us to see what we are doing if I tell him we are in town or going some place he will call us to tell me to make sure to hold hands, make sure we have our hand sanitizer, and to ask what time i expect to be home so he won't worry so much! at first it was rather cute that he worried like he does but after the the thrid child I tell him I think I can handle the boys thanks. he looks at me and gives me that look. (I should mention he is a fireman and does see things so I do understand why he is so protective.)

How funny!! Lately I have been making an extra effort to not follow my daughter around the playground. This effort came after she told me to, "Go away!" :-)
