Hows this for venting--- My Daughter was ASSAULTED on a Waterbury bus last week. While on the bus for 45 min she was being attacked and verbally abused.  She screamed for help. THE BUS DRIVER DID NOTHING!! Children on the bus tried to help her to no avail (thanks for trying, kids).  The driver was too busy on the cell phone while driving! Supposedly there is cameras on these busses- but if anything happens that you may ACTUALLY need it, IT is always convenienly  broken or missing. (This same driver hit a police cruiser only a week before). My daughter did not get out of harms way untill she pulled up in front of my house. She is only TEN years old. I followed up with the bus company-school-police department-superintendents office. And the bus driver only got moved to another route. So just to let all you parents of Waterbury school children know that Durham supports bad bus drivers. If any parents have had similar problems with the bus, let me know. Now I feel better. Thanks : )
