If your child is struggling in school, either by bore dome or lack of motivation by the teacher, speak with the teacher about resources offered at the school. If the teacher cannot offer your child help, speak with the principal. Try joining or attending  School Site Council (SSC) and/ or PTA. Let them know you are your child's advocate, and not their agent.
