Osborn School District

 

I wanted to take the time to commend the staff at Encanto and Clarendon. I had two in Headstart, two in first grade and one in seventh grade. I was always greeted by the office staff when entering the building at both schools. I was always treated with respect. The teachers were always willing to spend a minute to talk about the children and what was needed for them. They gave me help by suggesting ways to improve on their academics and behaviors. When necessary the staff including the Principle and Psychologist would  meet with me and anyone else to make the children’s school days much better. I can’t tell you how that makes a parent feel to know that they are not alone. I know that Headstart is not connected to the district but what a great chance for little ones to get ready for Kindergarten. Headstart has taught my two students how to be around others and treat them with respect. I have a sister who teaches first grade in Avondale and a niece that teaches first grade in Goodyear and they are surprised at how well my first graders read. I tell them it’s because Osborn School District is the best in Arizona!!!!! My gifted child in Clarendon is where he is because his teachers took time to understand him and let him blossom with discipline and love. You don’t find that in school these days. Please send my regards to both schools and let them know that it is a pleasure to have them.
