Our Kindergartner still was lacking eye, hand, and foot coordination... could not ride a bike without training wheels. He's not too good on his balancing and stabilizing himself. My husband and I got him "Moon Shoes". He's been jumping in them for 3 weeks now. We started to encourage him to learn to ride his bike but was so scared he'd fall over. The first time we gave him a push, his feet immediately hit the ground and he was so scared he was still going to fall over. I Stood on one end of the drive way and my husband stood in the other (kinda like you stand when you teach a baby how to walk). And My husband gave him a push off toward me and he did it. He rode our whole drive way (about 100 feet) with no wheels or help. I honestly feel that jumping in the moon shoes helped his balance issue and he had fun learning to do two things at once. He learned how to balance and stabilize himself plus it was self assurance when he rode his bike.
