Hi everyone! Summer doesn't have to be a boring stay home parents. I know because I have three super active boys. They like to do all kind of activities indoor and outdoor. Some of them are very challenging and others need patience. They love to count. That's why I call summerize. In the morning  we go walking around our neighborhood and we count our steps. if we run we count our miles, if it is a short distance we count time. In the break feast time How much do you like to drink, coffee, water, juice, lemonade, etc.? for my oldest child I like to ask him to summarize only the milk so we can get  more at the grocery store. How many cups we drink for the day. If the cups are 16 oz. or 20 oz. After break feast we like to read, How many pages, how many chapters? if we play with toys, cars, Lego's, superheroes, Can they count How many they have? what kind; colors, etc.  There are other activities, if we do cookies or help mom to cook we use the recipe to learn about measurement  in fractions, cups, etc. Even when they play video games we treat the time expended reading for outdoor activities and 1 hour in their games. If we travel to see grandma. We like to ask the miles, short es time, or the multiplication facts. How long was the trailer we past? They always have questions about buildings if they are tall, why they can't be  more taller, etc. Remember if you have a  room full  of pictures, and things, one day you may realize .You are very rich, just count them.

This also teach children to be aware of their environment, How lucky  they are to have toys. they will appreciated your skills for counting or cooking or just be grateful for what they have. How much is too much for an ice cream in the summer time?
