Your gonna see a lot of nervous faces, I am talking about the parents. The kids on the other hand are very different, some might be crying, others will just join in the activites. Keep reminding your child you are only theere to see the school and you are going to leave. Don't linger if this is the first time seeing the class look around and hug and kiss your child the longer you stay the harder it will be for both parent and child. Remember after school you can stay and look around as to where everything is in the class. I was consistant when it came to picking up my kids so they new there routine and what time to expect me.
I believe it differs from one kid to another, my eldest was so attached to me and didn't want to leave me, but my second one was so happy that he is big enough to go to school like his sister and cousins... but if you are asking about me it was both a happy moment and a missing feeling and i was always there waitting for them in school before dismissal time the first week at least.
One of the most nerve wracking experiences of your life. I followed the bus and video taped the walk into the school. Then I went home and cried. Good luck. I don't want to relive that day again. The same thing happened twice!
